Community Connections
A New Program that reaches out to help people in our community In 2006 Flashpoint Productions launched a new program called Community Connections. This program was designed to help support charities, non-profit groups, fundraisers at reduced rates based on each event in Ontario. It is Flashpoint's way of giving back to the community. Below are
some of the events that our DJ Team has participated in.
 2006/07/08 MS Society Super Cities Walk.
Each year, since 2006, the Flashpoint DJ Team helped the community by participating in the MS Society Super Cities Walk. This event took place simultaneously in many cities (such as Windsor, London, Cambridge and Waterloo). Our DJ Team provided emceeing and music to help motivate the thousands of walkers as they walked to raise money in the rain. (click here to view this year's letter from MS)
 2007 Kitchener Santa Clause Parade.
Once again on Saturday, November 17, 2007 Flashpoint DJ Team joined up with Eastwood Collegiate High School worked together on a new
float parade. As usual our entry had the crowd pumped!
 2006/07 MS Society Rona Bike Tour.
On Saturday, July 22, 2006 Flashpoint DJ Team helped the community by participating in the 2006 MS Society Rona Bike Tour. This event took place in London, Ontario. Our DJ Team provided music for both the race and the evening awards banquet.
 2006 Cancer Society Relay For Life.
On Friday, September 29, 2006 Flashpoint DJ Team helped the community by participating in the 2006 Cancer Society Relay For Life. This event took place in Waterloo, On. Our DJ Team worked alongside other entertainers to provide music and movies throughout the night as walkers made their way around the trails in the park.

On Saturday, November 18, 2006 Flashpoint DJ Team in conjunction with Eastwood Collegiate High School worked together to put together a
float in both parades. Our entry really pumped up the crowd as it moved along the parade routes.
