Flashpoint Photobooth

I guarantee that almost every person has been to a photo booth in the mall and has paid $4.00 for a card of 4 pictures, that have you unprepared in the first one, getting the hang of it in the second one, making a silly face in the third one, then looking confused like, “is it over yet?” in the last one.

Here at Flashpoint Productions we have come out with a new product that ensures entertainment and lasting memories. We bring the photo booth to you and to your event! Whether you’re having a wedding, stag and doe, birthday party, school dance or corporate party, it’s a great way to get people together, and show them having a blast. A great idea for weddings it to have people sit down and take a couple of pictures together, then have their pictures printed out and placed into a book where they sign it and wish the bride and groom the best of luck. You can also use these as wedding favors in a frame provided by us! We also provide silly hats, boas, big goofy glasses and crazy things like that to enhance your photo and really show off how great of a time you and your guests had.

This is such a great way to keep these memories with you for a long time. And to be honest, it’s really affordable to have at your event. It’s a great keepsake for say, prom. Having these pictures with your best friends, showing you guys having a great time, think of the next time you might see them? You may be going off to university or college, and some of your friends might be going to another college, or staying back in high school for another year. This times are precious and the more memories you have, the better.

So when you’re planning your wedding or stag and doe or even that big birthday party, think about the memory keepsakes you could have and how much your guest will appreciate the extra effort you’re putting in to ensure that they have a great time at your event!

Flu VS Nerves?

So FH’s and my wedding is in 9 days. 2 nights ago I woke up after having terrible nightmares (not about the wedding, nothing specific) and a horrible pain in my belly! Could this be the flu, or nerves? I am sure every bride goes through the pre-wedding jitters but I hope that the planning is enjoyable and stress free for everyone… a bride can hope right? If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t worry about the small stuff. So a couple had to cancel and you already did up the seating chart? Oh well… they will be missed. With one week to go what’s done is done. You can no longer change the venue, or your guest list, or your wedding party, or your linens, etc etc. Just remember that the initial marriage is what is important.

I can say I’m not stressed but anything to me is stressful right now, I’m just used to it! Going through the whole wedding planning process, and now buying a house can be stressful on any newlywed couple. What am I going to do after all of this is finished? I know we will not be having children right away (we now have a puppy who is as high maintenance as they come) and everyone I have talked to has said that I need a hobby. Well, wedding planning has always been my hobby; work has always been my hobby! I think any and every bride needs to take a break away from anything wedding related. A holiday from life is what I am thinking! If it’s your honeymoon that is your holiday, great. If not, just sit back, relax, and laugh about all the stress later.

“Do you want me to tell you something really subversive? Love is everything it’s cracked up to be. That’s why people are so cynical about it. It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is if you don’t risk anything, you risk even more. “

$$MONEY$$

Written: April 3, 2009

Does anyone else worry about money? I groan when I even hear the word. Between getting married, getting a new dog, making car payments, and now attempting to buy a house, money seems to be the only thing on my mind. I have never been very good with budgets, since I was engaged coming right out of college, I always went mad with money since I had no one to take care of other then myself. Now there are 2 of us (3 if you include our little puppy!) which means MORE BILLS! The wedding is costing much more then I expected it would but we haven’t put ourselves into debt doing it, so I suppose that is a good thing. I know many people who had to get loans in order to have the wedding of their dreams.

So now we are going through houses and calling the bank to make sure we are approved, while still getting ready for our wedding which is less than 3 weeks away! Did I say I was stressed out yet?! The only thing that keeps me going is that we are just starting out like any other couple and we won’t buy something we can’t afford. I am sure, just like the craziness in weddings, that every new couple goes through this stress. I was just hoping it wasn’t all at once!

What matters in the end…

Written on: March 27, 2009

The wedding is so close! What a nightmare it has been along the way! I am sure every bride goes through the same thing but no one can truly say they understand until they have been there. Between the in-laws arguing, to the dress not fitting, to guests not RSVPing, to arguments about the wine, to bridesmaids issues, and so on and so forth, I just cant wait until the day comes when I can sit back and say, “this was all worth it”. And trust me, I will. Although there have been so many issues and so many troubles, in the end every bride just gets to marry the love of her life, and that’s all that matters right? Not where you’re crazy Aunt will sit so she doesn’t get in an argument with someone, or how many people will be invited, or even what the decorations look like! Will you remember when it’s all over? I know I won’t…

So from one bride to another… don’t sweat the small stuff. Just remember what the meaning and purpose behind the whole “shebang” is… to marry the one you love.
